Baylor was chartered by the Republic of Texas in 1845 and is the oldest university in the state. Baylor is affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas. With an enrollment of about 14,000, it is one of the largest private church-related universities in the world. We have students from all 50 of the American states and from about 60 foreign countries. We are among the top 1% of American universities in terms of our number of National Merit Scholars. We have exchange programs with universities around the world, and we have been particularly active in Mexico, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. The Hankamer School of Business at Baylor is accredited by the AACSB.
Because of our unique mission, we seek to employ excellent scholars who embrace the Christian ideals on which Baylor was founded and continues to operate. The “Personal Data Sheet” referenced above is designed to elicit information about your background, academic interests, personality, and philosophy of life that may not appear on a conventional curriculum vita. Please submit the completed form with your other application materials. We will arrange ASSA interviews from the pool of candidates who have returned a full application file including the personal data sheet.
